Greek language course in Oslo

The course will be hosted in the city of Oslo, Norway, and is intended for adult Greek language students who would like to improve their skills in listening and speaking and at the same time expand their vocabulary.

The teacher is Greek with wide experience in teaching Greek as a foreign language. Each lesson includes listening exercises and a variety of language games that motivate students to speak. In this way students may practice and assimilate the new vocabulary. Grammar is also taught in order to correct mistakes made by the students and to improve the ability of the students to express their ideas correctly and clearly.

Schedule
The course will last for 18 hours according to the following schedule:
Group A: 13, 14, 20 & 21 March 2010 (weekends) – 4hours / day & Tuesday 16 March – 2,5 hours in the afternoon – evening.
Group B: 13, 14, 20 & 21 March 2010 (weekends) – 4hours / day & Thursday 18 March – 2,5 hours in the afternoon – evening.
Two groups consisting of 7 students each will be formed, according to the students’ level

Levels
This is not a course for absolute beginners. Students in levels A1 – C2, according to the European Framework, may enroll in the course (that means students with some knowledge of the Greek language till very skilled students). However, only two groups will be finally formed. For this reason, all registered students will have to pass an on-line grading test two weeks before the beginning of the course.

Fees
220 Euro
Fees include course materials. A part of them may be distributed to the students in electronic format. We ask the students to print out this material.
